Hi, ANndy. Thanks for replying. We do use video tapes as a way of reaching parents and have found that to be quite successful. In addition, we have a child group that meets once a week on Monday nights. The parents come to this meeting and we have formed a parent group that has been wonderful.Parents bond with each other and with us. Through that we have also involved the therapists from the public schools and have integrated our approach with them. We also have a weekend workshop which includes a parent meeting. School SLPs come to hat, too. I know school clinicians who are setting up similar programs. Thanks. Char Bloom.
