I would like to thank you for sharing such insightful information about the acceptance of stuttering. Since I am in the population of people who do not stutter, I have always had a difficult time understanding those people who do stutter and the deep feelings of loneliness that they may or may not exhibit. I think your article is an important one for everyone to read because it allows all of us to look at ourselves and reflect upon what "faults" we may have that we hide or feel ashamed of. Being able to acknowledge and accept those faults, regardless of whether you are a person who stutters or not, is an important first step in learning to like yourself and appreciate who you are.
