I am a graduate student in speech pathology in St.Louis, Missouri. When I first saw your article in the conference I thought, "That looks interesting, but it doesn't pertain to me.", but when I started reading I realized that it does. Since I'm from the mid-west I don't think about multi-cultural issues much. I always think that those issues only really effect people on the coasts and near the Mexican border. I just wanted to tell you that your article made me stop and remember that multi-cultural issues effect everyone in the U.S.. It is thought that in the fairly near future the hispanic population will become the majority of U.S. citizens. Thanks for your article and the reminder.
