As yet there doesn't seem to be any research evidence one way or the other about a relation between medication and stuttering. I can't think of any theoretical reason why medication would affect stuttering negatively. But, it's not really been studied. Re what we said about meds in the paper. We were referring to the reduction of problem behavior associated with ADHD (.e.g., inattention, disruption, non-compliance). The idea was that session will go better if problem behavior is reduced/eleminated. Your idea of split sessions is interesting. If behavior wasn't an issue I'd say it would be worth a try.
