Are there any guidelines that teachers can use in the classroom to help pinpoint some of the behaviors that an individual who stutters may portray? For example, most teachers would overlook some of the behaviors in the article as behavior problems. So, they may ignore these behaviors and hope that they go away. If they had a tool to use they would be able to stop dismissing these behaviors as classroom disruptions and start referring them to the SLP for further evaluation.
