Lou, you are right in saying that I have a good handle on my stuttering. Most times, now, when I do get into one of those battles with myself, during a particularly rough block, I can usually overcome the negative self talk. The key word here is "usually." Still have those moments where the "negative Bernie" orchestrates the conversation for a little while. I am really not one for trying too much of that Gestalt therapy type of stuff. I am a pretty happy camper right now, and don't wish to dredge up some stuff that I don't know exists in this silly head of mine. :-) By the way, what the hell are you doing in Alaska? You seem to have this affinity for cold climates. First Iceland, now Alaska. Is there some deep rooted significance to this? :-)
