I had hoped that the clusters of symptoms might serve as a measure of severity of the petite mort, but although there was a weak correlation between symptoms and self- reported intensity, it was not strong enough to be considered valid at this point. That might have been a weakness in the way data were collected, and if I should have an opportunity to pursue the study further, it is something I would address more clearly.
