Leave it to you to make facilitating a support group meeting sound so simple. I tend to believe that it is one of those things that is easy but at the same time, is definately not. A lot depends on the people gathered at that particular meeting. Sometimes you get a whole slew of people chopmping at the bit to participate, other times, it's like pulling teeth. There have been times that Bernie Weiner and I have planned and planned and planned. We were going to do this, that, and the other thing. Sounded great on paper, but come meeting time, for whatever reason, it just didn't work. Other night's, we just wing it, play it by ear, so to speak, and the meeting goes smashingly. Looking forward to seeing you on Thur. Sorry we couldn't get you set up with a speaking engagement. However, the restaurant where we're going to does have a band, which means they also have a microphone. Perhaps if we have enough of us stuttering type folks on hand, we can pull of a coup (bloodless, of course), overthrow the band, commandeer the microphone, lock all of the doors, and maybe you can teach all of them "fluenters" a thing or three about stuttering. Viva la revolution.
