Dianne, thank you for participating in this important forum. When you mentioned the daily anxiety a stutterer deals with, I was struck by the comments of John Stossel during his keynote speech at this year's annual conference in Boston.

Here's your typical, milder, but still somewhat covert stutterer as he described himself, who appears so fluent and confident to the public, yet he admitted that for so many days during his career, he awoke and his first thoughts as he stepped from bed was, "What do I have to say today and will I stutter?" He admitted he could only rest and enjoy the day when it was over, and "he didn't have to worry about stuttering to anyone." THAT typlifies our daily anxiety -- only living your day AFTER getting past the need to talk to people. Sad, but very common, for most PWS.

Thanks again!

Chris
