Thanks, Elizabeth! I appreciated Lori Andrews reply very much in highlighting that this is therapy material and should be protected and met as such. I just would like to add that we don't know when the picture is created or the statement (about what stuttering is like, for instance) if there are any intense emotions at all in it or if the child feels about his/her stuttering as we believe they do or even "should". This is simply one way of many for us to understand at first and then, if need be, help the person in finding a better life or a better way of handling speech.
