Dear Dianne,

Thanks for your comments on the teasing article! I feel the parents should pass out that brochure to the teacher every school year and not just to the child's teacher but to every teacher because that child may encounter other teachers in different situations such as on the playground etc.. I also encourage the parent and child to go together before the first day of school if possible and have the child hand the brochure to the teacher. The brochure is a great way to open up the discussion of stuttering.
