Funny, a while ago I wrote an article about my son taking Karate. When the mother of a stuttering child telephoned me and said that she was worried that her son wanted to take karate to seek revenge, I was able to relieve her anxiety by pointing out that the karate environment would probably give him the self-control so that revenge would not be foremost in his mind.
