What a sad story! Why do you think your 2nd grade teacher confronted you with a tape recorder in front of the class? Was she purposely trying to confront you with your stuttering? Did she ever explain? And how touching the way your classmates responded. Although kids can be bullies and terrible teases, they can also be compassionate and kind. I'm glad you shared your story.
