The story, "The Rage," is my experience...not necessarily that of your son. However, as a male teenager struggling to blend into his world, I can assure you that he has had similar feelings. There is no "correct" way to prevent these feelings -- they are a part of living. You should, instead, focus on letting him know that he has a strong, loving family as his support base. He has to, and will, experience life. Just be there to support him when life hurts. I'm sure you've been there yourself. Just be there unquestionly when he goes through it. "I understand" is more powerful than "Let me tell you how to deal with it."
