The stories are true.

Congratulations on having the guts to feign stuttering. But I ask you -- try to imagine what it would be like if you couldn't just turn it "on" and "off." That's the pain. It may be mildly embarrassing to stuttering when asking directions in a mall, but what about during a job interview? or when meeting the opposite sex? or when stopped speeding by the police? or any of a million of life's stress situations?

Keep up your studies -- and keep up placing yourself in your client's position. Remember the truism: "Walk a mile in my shoes."
