Dear Sheree I agree that culture has an influence on attitudes. My original protocol was aimed at determining cultural differences in attitude towards stuttering as South Africa has a wide spectum of cultures. Seeing as I was only doing an undergraduate study, my protocol was not accepted. I plan to do my Masters in a few years and hope to be able to carry out my original plan. From Cathy
