Hi! I forgot something in my last post - sorry. This question comes from the capacities and demands model mindframe. I was thinking that if a child had a predisposition to stutter and then they had to go through the rigors of learning and being taught in a second language (such as spanish speaking household going to an American school), could that be the environmental/linguistic kick in the pants that may cause stuttering to emerge and/or increase the severity? I know the answer I might get is "It might," but I'd still love to hear someones thoughts : )

take care, Andy
