Do you feel that if the academic programs nationwide put more emphasis on fluency disorders that will save them from an unfortunate demise? I have several professionals that I come in contact with who obtained their master's from different universities. Each one of them have said that their individual programs put more energy on different aspects. Aspects that the departments felt were more important based on ASHA's guidelines.
