There are some reports (see Bloodstein) that kids who stutter are late to talk, but also some that report precosity. Our work, presented here last year and in press at Journal of Speech Language and Hearing Research (October) on 15 pairs of children right at onset of stuttering and fluent peers, suggests that the children who stutter are slightly less proficient at a number of linguistic tasks, but not massively so. This is not an answer to milestones per se, but sort of addresses what I think you are asking. Nan
