Hi Susan, Thanks for reading and responding to our article on Shady Trails. I can only suggest that you keep passing out those camp brochures and pamphlets. It took 6 years from the time I first heard about Shady Trails to actually attend the camp. Sometimes parents of children are a little frightened to realize that their kid might need a little extra help with a speech problem such as stuttering. I firmly believe, that some of these kids might benefit from taking a little time out in the summer, get away from the "real world" and spend a couple of weeks with their stuttering buddies. Things today are so much better than in the 50's and 60's. The follow up support groups are everywhere, even for children and parents. Keep handing out those camp pamphlets, you might just change a life eventually.
