Thank you for an interesting and thought-provoking article! I agree with you that "the person who stutters must take the driver's seat when setting goals, selecting methods, and deciding the nature and length of treatment." What are some warning signs that the "rescue game" you describe is happening? What advice would you give to an SLP who is approached by "Steve" for therapy?
