Dear Steve, Thank you for the kind words. Judy’s web page has been a great comfort to me. I don’t feel it took any courage to share my story. The courage is learning to accept myself for who I really am. I was always ashamed of being a stutterer. I am not any more. I focused so much time on trying not to stutter I let many other aspects of life go unattended. I hope no one else out there is making the same mistake I made. One of Jim Abbott’s poems helped me realize I was the person who isolated myself. I was the person who needed to quit hiding and start taking part of life. Boston was a great experience and I sincerely hope to see you next year in Anaheim.
