Dear Monica,

Sorry if I made 48 sound old. I don’t feel old. I was able to attend the NSA convention in Boston. Annie Bradberry let me sit in on a lecture given by Scott Yaruss for Speech Language Pathologists. It was so totally exciting to see all the changes, which have taken place since the 1960’s. I am sure things are much different now then they were back then. In my little grade school I only remember three other people who stuttered. First through Sixth grades and only three Stutterers, all had speech therapy together at the same time. It is so comforting to me to have been made aware of how things have changed.

Thank you for what you do and the people you help. You have chosen a most honorable profession. Someone said, “ No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.” I can tell you care.
