Dear Katie, Thank you for your comments. I am very pleased if I have been able to help you in you work. I am very envious of the career you have chosen and know you will find joy in your work. I feel there has to be a balance between fluency and acceptance of stuttering. It will be your job to find out where that balance lies with each of you patients. If you stay aware of the need for both you will be very successful. You have to treat the whole person not just the stutter. Good luck to you, you can change the world for a person who stutter’s.
