I feel the most disturbing aspect of the survey results were the parents who felt concerned about how stuttering in others affects their child. This startling discovery highlights the need for this type of research. Knowing some of the beliefs that exist may help form the curriculum for general public education. I also found it interesting that most did not feel the schools would be a source of information on stuttering. Thanks for the information.
