Dear Gina,

Thank you so much for your very personal article. After 20 years as an SLP, 4 of them "treating" only children who stutter, I am finally waking up to the fact that its the very close personal connection between the PWS and helper that means everything. I found that your role model gave of himself unconditionally. I am nearly ready to throw out my stuttering text books and just be friends with my students. Any advice on how I can continue on this journey from over-educated SLP to unconditional friend?

Thanks very much, Judy Butler
