Beautiful, Gina. I wish people could have seen you talking about him as we saw you doing just that at the ELSA Youth Meeting. You know I too had great correspondence with John and even my 5 year old daughter has her own Scatman cds which she listens to when she wants to be on her own. And she doesn't even understand a word!

As you know I wrote some letters to him asking why he didn't reply anymore, not knowing he was too ill to even lift a finger. I wish he'd told me so I at least could have said goodbye to him. It was a fantistic decision to jump on the first plane to see him and it was not so strange he recognized you: once people meets you, they'll never forget you, as you yourself glow with inspiration to others. You crawled out from the dark into the bright sun light, which makes YOU my role model. And for other reasons as only you and I know of. So, sis', I expect you to book a big room at the World Congress next year, as it'll be filled with people sharing our love for him, stutterers as well as non-stutterers of all ages, all inspired by his fantastic lyrics and beautiful personality.

Book me a seat at the front row!
