I believe highly in role models, and I agree that every one should have one at some point and time in their lives. I would just like to know if his influence on you helped you strictly in confidence and accepting that you stuttered and there was nothing to be ashamed of, or if knowing him made a difference in your fluency (for example, he told you of new techniques or strategies of dealing with stuttering)? Have you tried to hide the fact that you stuttered during your life, or just tried to control it with techniques? Do you use some of the same strategies that your role model did, and if so, what were some of them?
