Hi Candace,

Thank you, for putting down your personal story. I miss writings of stutterers, relating to other things in their lives, besides stuttering. I have written my story, relating to my stuttering (3rd invited paper). However, I did not include my personal story (relationships, hard life lessons)- I think I should do it in the the future. It seems that you liked your profession and you did not have to chose it because of your stuttering. I, for my part, because of circumstances, had to chose one which is not optimal for me, although I am doing now better than before. I thought always, that things besides stuttering count more than stuttering. And by relating to the things around my stuttering, or let's say to the Hexagon that relates to my stuttering, I could improve the quality of my life, and start on my recovery path. In this respect, I would say that stuttering is teaching us a lesson, but understanding the life lessons is fare more important, that the mere fluency of our speech.

threading to you: Stefan
