Here's my report. My client read your parable and said he liked it. He didn't think it paralleled his own situation entirely (I took that as a positive--he read it carefully, and with thought). The take-home message for him was to learn to relax about his stuttering. That its being the whole of his universe was clouding his view, distorting reality. And, consequently, making life more difficult.
