Thank you, Michael, for explaining the genesis of your use of the term "PLWS (people living with stuttering)." Even though it may be consistent with contemporary linguistic "buzz" describing human problems, it does, for me at least, suggest a less hopeful attitude for the realization of fluent speech than the term, "PWS (people who stutter)."
