My name is Benny Ravid and I am the Chair of International Stuttering Association.

I am from Israel and I'm also the president of AMBI - the Israel Stuttering Association

I am also a person who stutters.

Dear Friends

On behalf of the International Stuttering Association, I welcome you to the ISAD On line conference 2008.

The conference starts on October the first and ends on October 22nd which is International Stuttering Awareness Day.

By participating in the conference you will enjoy many very interesting papers dedicated to stuttering.

These papers are written by people who stutter, speech language pathologists and researchers.

Let me use this occasion to welcome you also to ISAD 2008 celebrations.

ISAD (the International Stuttering Awareness day) occurs on October twenty second.

This important day will be observed in many places around the globe, and celebrated in a many different ways.

If you are preparing an ISAD celebration in your location and still not sure what to do, please refer to a special brochure that explains ISAD, and provides ideas for activities on how the day can be celebrated.
