Practice Your Belly Breathing
Imagine yourself like the figure below. Push from the handles of the bellows. Minimize chest movement:

FEEL the air slide through your throat and out an open mouth as you do the following:

  • Breathe quietly:
  • Take a deep breath in and let the air out slowly
  • Take a deep breath and release it from the belly in two even breaths: Repeat with three even breaths:
  • Take a deep breath and release on short breath, hold, and finish with a long breath. Repeat in a reverse pattern
  • Take five serial breaths: a long one in followed by a long one out:
