I am 18 yrs old. I am in my senior year of high school. I just survived basic training for the Army National Guard. I currently have a job at Target as a cashier. My advice is "Don't hide from your dreams, do what you want to do and be who you want to be, nothing can stop you!"

My name is Margaret Hansen, and I have stuttered since I was 4 1/2. I am now almost 18. This year, I auditioned for and was accepted into the 1997 All-Northwest Honor Band on my trumpet. It is a select group of 200 high school musicians from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska, and all auditioned. The concert is in February in Bellevue, WA.
