A Spiral Notebook
This section features miscellaneous notes and personal correspondence, much of which is previously unpublished, found in a box now in the possession of Andrew Amor who says, "As I started to sift through the box, which Grampa humbly referred to as 'junk,' I discovered real treasure. When I first dug through the layers of 'compost' I found
his familiar WMU letterhead with this note scrolled on to it:
No, these pages of Van Riper's journaling and correspondence will not be burned nor forgotten. Instead this section will become a place to burn his ideas into the minds and hearts of those who care to listen. (Andy Amor)
