This workshop offers a variety of options for credits. Students may take the course for one of the following forms of credit. Please note that each has a different registration process, also described on this page.

  • Continuing Education
    • 14 continuing education contact hours (1.4 CEUs)
    • 14 POST credits available upon request 
  • Graduate Credit
    • 1 graduate credit in Anthropology
  • Undergraduate Credit
    • 1 undergraduate credit in Anthropology

Register for Graduate Credits

  1. If you are already an admitted Graduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato:
      1. Register online
        1. Enter your Tech ID and PIN
        2. On the left menu, choose Courses and Registration
        3. Quick Add/Register
        4. Choose Semester: Summer 2012
        5. Use Course ID: 004228
      2. Payment for the course is due upon registration
        1. On the same e-services site used for registration, click Bills and Payments on the left menu
        2. From there you can see your Balance Due by term, Account Details, or Make a Payment
  2. If you have not taken courses at Minnesota State University, Mankato in the past:
    1. Apply to the MSU College of Graduate Studies. We suggest you start by applying for non-degree seeking status (NOS). NOS is faster/easier and permits you to take up to 9 graduate credits without formal application to a specific program. The application fee is not required and you do not need to provide transcripts. You may, of course, do the full application process now (or later if you decide to go beyond 9 credits). Download a pdf of the application (broken link) OR you can apply online
    2. When you have received notice of admission to the graduate program
      1. Register online
        1. Enter your Tech ID and PIN
          The first time you attempt to use your PIN, it has been preset to one of the following:
          1. your birth date in YYMMDD format,
          2. your last six digits of your social security number
        2. On the left menu, choose Courses and Registration
        3. Quick Add/Register
        4. Choose Semester: Summer 2012
        5. Enter Course ID: 004228
      2. Payment for the course is due upon registration
        1. On the same e-services site used for registration, click Bills and Payments on the left menu
        2. From there you can see your Balance Due by term, Account Details, or Make a Payment

 

Register for Undergraduate Credits

  1. If you are already an admitted Undergraduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato:
      1. Register online
        1. Enter your Tech ID and PIN
        2. On the left menu, choose Courses and Registration
        3. Quick Add/Register
        4. Choose Semester: Summer 2012
        5. Use Course ID: 004227
      2. Payment for the course is due upon registration
        1. On the same e-services site used for registration, click Bills and Payments on the left menu
        2. From there you can see your Balance Due by term, Account Details, or Make a Payment
  2. If you have not taken courses at Minnesota State University, Mankato in the past:
    1. Apply for admission to the University. If you plan to take 16 or fewer undergraduate off campus or online credits (this course is considered off campus), you can apply by completing the [PDF] Extended Learning Permission to Register form. (382 KiB)This form is for students who completed their high school diploma or GED at least three years prior to making application.
  3. Students who have completed their high school diploma or GED less than three years ago, need to make formal application to the University by completing the Undergraduate Application form
