Information CenterIn a globalized digital economy, there will be an increasing need for individuals with greater global business understanding and the skill sets to assist firms in their global expansion efforts.

The main purpose of the Global Business Executive Certificate Program (GBECP) is to provide a rigorous theoretical base and a comprehensive, systematic and integrative planning process designed to guide participants through the decision-making process of a company seeking global market opportunities using the Global Marketing Management System Online (GMMSO) software, a global research and strategic planning tool.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion issued by Minnesota State University, Mankato, and JAI, Inc.

Learning Outcomes

GBECP will provide the following critical competencies to participants:

  • Develop an understanding of the globalization process and its impact on world markets.
  • Develop and understanding of the environmental forces and institutions impacting on the ability of firms to compete in a global economy.
  • Appreciate the importance of global trade investment on national economies.

  • Learn to develop a global marketing plan
  • Learn to develop an export marketing plan
