Practical Strategies, a Therapy Format, and Music with Young Children

Presenter: Rachel Arntson, M.A., CCC-SLP; Speech-Language Pathologist

Rachel Arntson has been a practicing speech-language pathologist in the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area since 1980 with a specific interest in using music to enhance the speech and language skills of children. Rachel has recorded 9 CDs (2 in Spanish), has written a parent training book entitled WE CAN TALK, and has created other products that provide simple, engaging speech and language practice for young children. She co-founded Kids’ Express Train in 2002, and in August of 2012, began a new company entitled Talk It Rock It. Rachel retired from her early intervention job in July 2015 after 25 years of working with young children and their families. She now devotes full time to Talk It Rock It where she presents nationally and internationally sharing her passion for music and working with young children.
