As you can see, the operation and continued success of Mentor Match is up to the mentees and mentors who are involved. The President's Commission on the Status of Women is offering a way to link mentees and mentors, but is not involved in any hands-on management of the project itself. However, we do need to know if Mentor Match is being used, and if so, if it is beneficial to those using it. Periodically, those listed as volunteer mentors will be contacted and asked if they are involved in a mentor relationship through Mentor Match. If yes, an anonymous survey will be given to those people and their mentees, asking for their perspective on the project effectiveness.
