Personal Information: I am still learning, especially to assess what is important, what is necessary . The most important recommendation for survival is to have a clear demarkation between work and social life. I don't know that I'd be considered well balanced but I love research and love designing experiments and carrying them out. Seeing students develop that same joy is wonderful.
Additional Comments: Define success and good days by some criteria that is not affected by others outside your control. Getting up each morning and watching the sun rise makes a great day.
