Questionnaire for Mentors

Mentor Match is a voluntary project initiated during the 2007-08 academic year by the President's Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) at Minnesota State University, Mankato. It is intended to help new female employees transition into their new roles and environment by offering them a way to find other women on campus who are interested in volunteering as mentors. Mentor Match is based on the premise that helping relationships are especially satisfying and meaningful when mentors and mentees voluntarily choose each other.

You have received this brief questionnaire because you identified yourself as a potential mentor on the Mentor Match website. First, thank you so very much for signing up and offering yourself to fill this important role for other women who are new to the MSU Campus. This project would not have happened without your willingness to serve.

Second, in order to determine the extent that Mentor Match is being used, and if it is beneficial to those using it, please take a few minutes to answer these questions for us, and return soon through email attachment to PCSW member Julie Carlson or, if you wish, anonymously through intercampus mail to Julie at Armstrong Hall 115. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
