The Midwest Women's Leadership Institute is an immersion experience for women in higher education to engage in thoughtful assessment of their strengths and to create a plan for the next step in their roles as leaders.
We realize that leadership looks different to every woman.
With inspiration from nationally recognized experts, through community and shared knowledge with other women, and with continuing support from advisors, attendees will develop solid leadership goals that suit them.
The week-long Institute won't end with the closing celebration. Through goal-setting and scheduled follow-up sessions with advisors over the course of the next year, attendees will continue to fine-tune their goals and develop their leadership plans. A closed network of attendees will stay in touch online, maintaining the professional relationships and network developed at the Institute.
No more preparation is needed than a desire for a professional challenge and a willingness to assess personal experiences and build on them to reach the next level of leadership.
Cost of the Institute is $2,000 per participant, including room and board.
