The College Access Program for summer 2013 is full and we are no longer accepting applications. Thank you for your interest in CAP and in MSU. Please contact Amy Mukamuri if you have any questions.
College Access Program (CAP) identifies and recruits high-risk underrepresented students who show promise of success. Over the course of the summer bridge program, students participate in a residential summer program that serves as an intense transition from high-school to post-secondary. Students are challenged to identify problematic areas, and collectively with staff, incorporate learned strategies for increased success throughout their academic careers.
The College Access Program provides a structured program that addresses multiple concerns of underrepresented students attending Minnesota high schools. Participants develop multicultural knowledge and skills to live effectively in a pluralistic society.
