Multicultural Center

As part of Institutional Diversity, the Center serves as a focal point for cross cultural programs and activities. It is a basic component of the cultural diversity retention effort where students can exchange, learn, and reinforce their cultural identity and existence cultural isolation and connect students from diverse backgrounds to the University.

Components and functions of the Center:

• Center for African American Affairs serving primarily but not limited to, African American students.
• Center for American Indian Affairs serving primarily but not limited to, American Indian students.
• Center for Asian American & Pacific Islander Affairs serving primarily but not limited to, Asian American & Pacific Islander Students.
• Center for Latino Affairs serving primarily but not limited to, Latino students.
• Intercultural Kitchen serves all students and cultures.
• Student Lounge welcomes all students from all walks of life.
• The Center can be reserved for organizations whose meetings specifically related to the promotion of cultural diversity and awareness.
