Peer Tutoring and Counseling (PTAC) is designed to help ethnic students make adjustments to college life. Through mutual efforts we can help each other reach our goals and future endeavors. Specifically PTAC is designed to assist students in subjects related to their course of study such as mathematics, computer science, accounting, English and much more.
PTAC by structure and design helps students not only pass their courses, but master the subject matter. Furthermore, this program serves to increase intercultural relations among our student body.
PTAC is for all Minnesota State University, Mankato students. All students are encouraged and welcome to make use of our free services.
PTAC will arrange tutorial sessions convenient to your schedule.
Our services are free.
The Peer Counseling program provides assistance to students in the following areas:
The coordinator will arrange special counseling, financial aid assistance and referrals to the other counseling services at Minnesota State Mankato and within the community.

Tutors and Peer Advisors are paid at a competitive hourly rate and must meet a strict standard before being considered.
