The Office of Multicultural Affairs is a department of the Division of Institutional Diversity. This office focuses on four areas: African American Affairs, American Indian Affairs, Asian American Affairs, and Chicano, Mexicano, and Latino Affairs. Each of the programs has its own coordinator who provides services in the areas of counseling, financial aid advising, tutorial services and cultural activities for students of color. The program cooperates with existing students services and seeks to improve the socioeducational climate to make educational experiences more meaningful to students from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds.
