To be eligible for the Hispanic College Fund Scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria. Must be accepted or enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education as a full-time student pursuing an academic discipline that will lead to a career in business.

Acceptable Majors Include

Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Management, Multimedia Production, International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Communications, and Psychology.

Students enrolled in community or junior colleges are also eligible to apply provided they intend to enroll in and obtain a bachelor degree from a four-year accredited institution.

Must be in good academic standing with a cumulative of GPA 3.00 or better on a 4.00 scale.

Must provide evidence of financial need (students who come from families with incomes at or below 60% of the area's median family income, based on family size). Please submit the following

1. Certification by a college or university's office of student financial aid (Part 1, Section C of application)
2. A copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR)
3. Your and/or your parents' most recently filed Income Tax Return Must be a U.S. citizen of Hispanic origin residing in the fifty states or Puerto Rico

Close consideration will be given to students who have leadership and/ or mentoring qualities as demonstrated by a record of involvement and participation in extracurricular or civic activities in school or in the communities.
