Financial need is not a consideration for the Scholarships and Talent Grants awarded to new entering freshmen. To be considered for other financial assistance, however, a determination of financial need is necessary. A student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for State Grant, Pell Grant, loans, work study and MSU scholarships. Office of Financial AidNote: March 15th is the Financial Aid application processing priority deadline. Scholarships and Talent Grant awards will be in your financial aid awards package, however, this usually means a reduction in your level of loan eligibility.
