The primary role of the Office of Disability Services is to ensure equal access and opportunity for students with disabilities to programs and activities offered through Minnesota State University. The office also acts as a resource and referral agency for students needing additional services.
Students with disabilities are encouraged to schedule an appointment with Disability Services to discuss their needs and access services. The student should provide current documentation of their disability so an accommodation plan can be appropriately written. Current documentation is generally considered within the last three years. The Office of Disability Services maintains confidential files for the student throughout their career at Minnesota State Mankato.
