the cady site

The Cady Site is located in Macomb County, Michigan. It was excavated as part of the doctoral research for Richard Strachan's Ph.D. from Wayne State University. It is a multicomponent archaeological site located in the confluence of the Clinton River and Plum Brook on a former glacial beach ridge. The site has components stretching through early Archaic to Late Woodland. It was excavated at various time by James Fitting, Gordon Grosscup and Richard Strachan. Since excavation, the site has been destroyed by construction.
